Gated Envelope Follower VS2

Prices shown exclude VAT, outside EU all orders are VAT free.

With the ADDAC401 Envelope Follower you'll be able to use the volume of any sound source to control your synthesis.

Our envelope follower has an interesting twist: besides outputting the volume information through a regular CV output, it also sports 8 independent gate outputs, triggered by the corresponding levels of the VU meter.

You can also control the offset on the gated outputs, either by CV or by steps through a special dedicated gate input.

Input Level and Decay controls allow you to achieve good envelope follower amplitude reaction.
Envelope Gain and Offset allows to set the envelope CV output to any desired CV range.

Monitor Leds for both the CV output and for the digital detection circuit.

Interactive Users Guide

In order to better illustrate the behavior of this module we developed a javascript app for potential users to test and better understand the module’s inherent features.

This guide features all the functions of the real hardware module plus a graphical display that resembles an oscilloscope and a very simple sound engine as if the module output was plugged straight into the CV input of a VCO.

The audiovisual experience of using this application makes it a very effective demonstration of the module’s operation.

Due some library incompatibilities, addac 401 interactive user guide is not working on Firefox browser at the moment. Please use Safari 7 or above or Google Chrome.
